Accidental Death Plan
Building A Stronger Safety Net
Imagine a fatal car accident on the way home from work. If it happened to you, your family may very well need extra money to help make ends meet as they rebuild their lives.
Accidental Death Insurance
Accidents claim far too many lives.
Overview
Think of the dangers on our nation’s highways alone.
Even with all the safety equipment in our vehicles, highway deaths still occur. Every day. Every week. Every month. Every year. In fact, the 2022 edition of the National Safety Council’s Injury Facts reports that car crashes are the third leading cause of death for all ages.1
That’s why Your American Legion Department strongly urges all Members to strongly consider adding Accidental Death benefits. With cash benefits up to $100,000.00 available, this protection can be an important “just in case” financial cushion for your loved ones.
Plus, as a Legionnaire, you cannot be turned down for coverage. No health questions are involved.
All benefit amounts reduce by 50% at age 75, regardless of age at enrollment.
Please refer to the “Terms” section for exclusions.
